Master Programs Introduction
New Western University Asia-Europe Campus is an oversea campus of New Western University inAsia-Europe, New Western University is a private university with a long history in the United States, its predecessor dates back to the last 20th century, the school's original name Western University, is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in the western region of the United States. Master of Arts Economics, Asia Campus, New Western University
This 1.5-year program aims to train a group of high-level economic research practitioners who have a solid foundation in economic theory and the ability to conduct independent research and analysis. At the same time, it will lay the foundation for students to pursue further doctoral studies and economic research.
Master of Management, Asia Campus, New Western University
This program is 1.5 years in duration and aims to train a group of high-level business management talents who have a solid foundation in management theory, independent research and analysis ability, and . At the same time, it lays the foundation for students to further their doctoral studies and to engage in research on management philosophy.
Master of Science in Finance, Asia Campus, New Western University
This program 1.5 years is designed to train complex talents with a solid theoretical foundation in finance, familiarity with the financial system, and mastery of high-level financial practices. At the same time, it lays the foundation for students to further their doctoral studies and engage in financial research.
Master of Information Systems and Technology, Asia Campus, New Western University
This program is 1.5 years in length and is designed to prepare students to become leaders in the field of information technology for careers related to business, government, banking, industry, e-gaming, and other fields. Students gain insight into different aspects of the field and learn how to design, build, and maintain complex systems and stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies that are relevant today. At the same time, the program encourages students to work closely with faculty for more in-depth work and research.
Second, the application requirements our master's students are admitted on the basis of "Application System"
Application to apply for written and interview at our school, you must meet the following requirements:
1. The candidate's education must meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Bachelor's degree graduates with nationally recognized qualifications (must have a bachelor's degree);
(2) Those who have received a master's degree or a doctorate degree;

III. Registration

IV. Entrance Examination
The entrance examination is divided into two parts: preliminary examination and retest.

Re-examinations are generally held at the end of March, as described below:
1. Candidates who take the preliminary examination and are qualified for the retest should download the relevant forms from the Graduate Master Admissions webpage New Western University Asia Campus before the retest, and provide various documents that can prove their research potential, including research plans at the graduate level, official school transcripts, and research achievements, etc. according to the specified time.
2. Qualification examination will be conducted during the retesting stage.
3. We will conduct a differential retest in the form of a written English listening test and a professional interview to further examine the students' English ability, professional foundation, comprehensive analysis ability, and ability to solve practical problems. Candidates who take the retest must reach the basic score line of the retest at New Western University Asia Campus for both total and single subject scores.
4. Candidates who fail the retest will not be admitted. The admission of candidates who pass the examination will be decided by the overall ranking of the candidates.
5. Candidates taking the retest are required to pay a retest fee, which is based on the regulations of the Educational Testing Service of the New Western University Asia Campus.
6. For students of New Western University Asia Campus Master of Economics and New Western University Asia Campus Master of Management, please provide TOEFL or IELTS scores at the time of review for English proficiency admission (85 or higher on the new TOEFL with a minimum score of 22 on the writing section; 6 or higher on the IELTS). At the start of the academic year new M.A. students must submit a passing and valid TOEFL or IELTS score to meet the basic requirements for admission to New Western University and to carry out the admission process, otherwise they will not be registered.

Admission is based on merit in the preliminary and final examinations.
VI. Medical Examination
The medical examination is conducted at the designated hospital of the university when the new students are enrolled, and the specific time is notified at the time of registration and arrival. Physical examination standards are implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations of the university.
VII. Curriculum
1. The duration of study is 1.5 years, full-time training at the Asia Campus of New Western University, and must comply with and complete our internship-related regulations. Upon completion of the study period, with an average grade of B or above in the required courses, and completion and defense of the master's thesis, the corresponding degree and academic certificate will be awarded.
2. Economics Master's program courses include Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Econometrics, Applied Econometrics, Financial Accounting, Behavioral Economics, Industrial Organization, Money and Banking, International Trade, Economics of Transition, Development Economics, Experimental Economics, Special Topics Seminar, Stochastic Analysis and Quantitative Methods, Risk Management and Analysis , etc. Students may select a minor from Finance, Management, and Information Systems and Technology upon admission and complete the relevant minor courses. Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate of completion of a Master's degree in Economics from New Western University Asia Campus or a certificate of completion of a minor in Finance, Management, Information Systems and Technology from New Western University Asia Campus.
3. Management Master's program courses include: Managerial Economics, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Empirical Business Analysis, Corporate Strategy, Project Management, Industrial Organization, Financial Accounting, Strategic Human Resource Management, Leadership, Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, International Business, etc. Students may select a minor from Finance, Economics, or Communications after enrollment and complete the relevant minor. Upon graduation, you will receive a certificate of Master of Science in Management from New Western University Asia Campus, and Certificate of Minor in Finance, Economics, Information Systems and Technology from New Western University.
4. Master of Finance Program Courses include: Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Chinese Financial Markets and Investment, Applied Econometrics, Financial Economics, Advanced Econometrics, Business Ethics and Research Methodology, Principles of Asset Valuation, Financial Mathematics, Financial Derivatives, Financial Risk Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Principles of Risk Management and Insurance, Investment, Real Estate Finance and Economics, etc. Students must select a minor from Economics, Management, Information Systems and Technology and complete the relevant minor courses after admission. Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate of completion of the Master of Science in Finance degree from New Western University Asia Campus and a certificate of completion of the minor in Economics, Management or Information Systems and Technology.
5. Information Systems and Technology courses focus on Computer Information Systems, Advanced Analytical Algorithms, Database Systems, Software Engineering, Software Assurance, Digital Forensics and Investigation, Website Design and Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, Interactive Information Visualization, Advanced Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Innovation. Students are required to select a minor from Finance, Economics, or Management after enrollment and complete the relevant minor courses. Students graduate with a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication from New Western University Asia Campus with a certificate in Finance, Economics, or Management minor.

Master of Public Administration (MPA)
I. Degree Introduction
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a professional master's degree in public administration based on the discipline of public administration and other related disciplines. It is established to meet the requirements of modernization, scientificization and specialization of public administration. Its Curriculum goal is to train high-level, application-oriented and complex management talents for government departments and public institutions who are well-equipped with both moral and talent and who can adapt to the needs of socialist modernization. Graduates are required to become leaders, managers, and other public service professionals who are familiar with advanced analytical methods and techniques and are familiar with specific public management or policy areas. Public management is a discipline that uses theories and methods from management, political science, economics and other disciplines to study the management activities of public organizations, especially governmental organizations, and their laws.

The goal of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) is to train managers, leaders, and policy analysts and (senior) staff who are engaged in public affairs management or public service in public organizations, especially government agencies.

IV. Employment prospects
The employment prospects of MPA degree holders are very broad, mainly in public organizations or the public sector in public service, but also in the private sector (companies, enterprises) in a certain percentage of administrative departments. Non-profit public organizations (various associations, foundations, labor unions, etc.), consulting firms, and personnel and administrative departments of companies and enterprises are the four main organizations where MPA graduates are employed. There are several career paths as follows:
